Alejandro and Monica Peluffo – Argentina

Alejandro Peluffo has had a longstanding desire to see his country of Argentina impacted by the transforming power of the gospel through expositional preaching wrought by trained men who love God’s Word and are committed to a high view of its Author.  While a pastor of a small church in Lobos, just outside the country’s capital of Buenos Aires, he left for seven years of training at The Masters Seminary in California.  Alejandro was then sent out from Grace Community Church in Sun Valley back to Argentina through Grace Ministries International to set up a pastoral training center.

Aside from shepherding and training pastors through his own program IDEAR, Alejandro has also created curriculum for a leads IBI, a Bible institute to teach the laypeople of the church as well, frequently speaks at conferences around the country, is collaborating with the Universal Bible Society in teaching expositional preaching, and shepherds his church, Iglesia Bautista Misionera en Lobos.  Alejandro is married to his wife Monica, and they have three children:  Joel, Carolina, and Juan Pablo.

Bill and Kelley Housley – Papua New Guinea

New Tribes Missions coordinates missionaries, sent by local churches, to take the Gospel to tribal people.  Missionaries then plant churches, disciple believers, translate the Scriptures, and train teachers and leaders who in turn reach out to their own people and to neighboring tribes. Bill and Kelley are missionaries to the Inapang people group, in Itutang, Papua New Guinea.

Missionaries in Closed Countries – Egypt, Lebanon

We also support several missionaries in countries that are closed or generally hostile to an official missionary presence.  These are dark and dangerous places – yet in desperate need of the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the peace that only He can bring.  Please pray for the many missionaries who serve in countries such as this!

Pod Martin – Morgan County Correctional Facility – USA

We are privileged to support Pod Martin as our first full time prison ministry.  Pod is an inmate at the Morgan County Correctional Facility in Wartburg, TN  who is serving multiple life sentences.  Yet, he was gloriously set free through salvation in Jesus Christ nearly 15 years ago.  Pod conducts weekly Bible studies, disciples fellow inmates, and oversees a Sunday morning service.  Pod was baptized in prison by one of the elders of GCC  and is an official member of Grace (even though he cannot attend).
