The point of Theism isn’t to construct the most reasonable deity but to position ourselves rightly under that which is most powerful. The study of science isn’t to create reality but to develop the framework by which we can best utilize reality for our own benefit. In the same way theology isn’t the invention of God but the discovery and application of the reality of how to behave in light of spiritual realities.
