"All of our problems in one way or another distill down into just two problems. We don’t view God as good as he is and we don’t view sin as bad as it is. And that is the beauty of our theological problem statement at hand. It cuts out all the cruft and gets down to the bare metal of the real problems. Good and Evil. God and Man. When asking why do bad things happen to good people. We have no right to ask that question or seek to answer it until we rightly view what is bad and what is good. We cannot pass the baton of blame onto God for the things he ordains and allows until we have in our mind clearly and rightly just how good God is and just how bad we are.
The complete holiness of God requires the eternal torment of an entirely sinful mankind. He saves those who repent but the rest experience the curse of being sinful forever."
