The Study of the Gospel of John - Conclusion of the Olivet Discourse
Jesus teaches the disciples about the state of Christendom at the time of His coming through parables. These parables in chapter 25 relate directly to parables in chapter 13 , when Jesus described the general course of the kingdom of heaven during this age. He also taught them about the judgment of the living gentiles at His coming in preparation for the millennial kingdom.
