Becoming One - Bitterness and Resentment

Becoming One Sunday School Class

Bitterness can be recognized as the slow-burn of anger that sticks with someone. Often resentment is one strong link in a chain of complicating problems. Bitterness can often be identified by keeping a record of wrongs. When we fail to consider God’s great forgiveness of us, and instead, hold others’ sins against them, we are like the wicked slave in Jesus’ parable. Keywords: bitterness, resentment, forgiveness

Scripture References: Ephesians 4:31-32, Matthew 18:21-35
