When Grace Gathers

Corporate worship is a precious privilege and time to experience, while still on earth, a little of the expectation of heaven (Revelation 4, 5). These are vital times of teaching and admonishing one another, building each other up, encouraging fellow believers, and stimulating one another to love and good deeds (Col 3:12-17, Heb 10:24-25) – all as we directly offer praise, worship, and adoration to our God in an attitude of holy fear (Heb 12:28-29)

Sunday Morning Worship Service

8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 AM

The purpose of our worship service is to glorify God by praising Him and edifying believers. To this end, we worship through song, public reading of Scripture, prayer, expository preaching, and giving. Our singing is a mix of God-exalting hymns and contemporary songs accompanied by a variety of instruments. Our corporate prayer is led by men from within the congregation. Once a month, we partake in the observance of the Lord’s Supper as part of our Worship Service.

Sunday School

9:30 & 11:00 AM

Sunday School is an additional opportunity to grow in understanding and conformity to God’s Word.

Children

Children meet for age-appropriate teaching in the following age ranges:

4-years-old – Kindergarten

1st – 3rd grades

4th – 6th grades

We use a God-centered curriculum (Generations of Grace developed by Grace Community Church – Sun Valley, CA), providing an expository approach to God’s Word with rich application for the lives of children.

The curriculum is “unified” in approach. Each age group is taught the same passage of Scripture at an appropriate level. Over a three-year period, each group covers the historical books of the Old Testament, the Life of Christ, Acts, and Revelation.

Youth

Ages 12-18 meet together for in-depth study. We help prepare them with a rock-solid Biblical foundation upon which to build the rest of their lives. To this end, we rotate through a cycle of exegetical teaching through books of the Bible, Systematic Theology, OT and NT Survey, and Apologetics/Worldview Studies.

Adults

Adults have several options for study and encouragement from God’s Word. Classes include expository teaching through books of the Bible, as well as presentations of Biblical topics. This is a rich time of learning, interaction, and encouraging one another to love and good deeds!

Fellowship Groups

Sunday evenings are the time we break down into smaller groups, meeting in homes to sing, share, pray with one another, and review the sermon for greater understanding and application. We do not believe that small groups are the key to the church (sound teaching is). However, fellowship groups have a valuable function in encouraging spiritual health in the body.
