Children’s Ministries

Our Children’s ministry exists to assist parents in bringing up their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. We do not assume the role of the parent, but come along side them in providing teaching and resources that will reinforce what is being taught in the home. We deeply love our children here at Grace and desire to teach them to:

1) Fear and love God above all things (Prov. 1:7, Matt 22:37)

2) Respect and obey God’s Word (Eph 6:1-3, Joshua 1:8-9)

3) Honor and obey their parents in all things (Eph 6:1-3)

4) Love and serve others (Matt 22:38, Mark 10:45).

Nursery – We are pleased to provide a clean nursery with a caring staff so parents can participate in the work and worship of the church.

Sunday School – Sunday School classes are provided (4 yrs. – 6th grade) during our 2nd worship services.  Our teachers use the Generations of Grace curriculum, which covers the entire Bible every three years from a God-centered perspective.  Each class focuses on the same lesson in an age appropriate way, giving families the opportunity to discuss the same lesson on the way home or around the dinner table.  It is our prayer that children would not just learn moral lessons, but they would learn to “set their confidence in God” (Psalm 78:7).

Kingdom Kids –  (4 yrs. – 6th grade) meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:15 pm.  After kids check in,
they open with singing some of the great hymns of the faith.  Bible lessons, Verse Memory, Catechism, and Games fill out the rest of this action packed night!  Catechism is a question and answer method that has been used in the church from the very beginning to teach children and adults the basics of the Christian faith.

Vacation Bible School – Our VBS week is a great way to reach our community for Christ, and to teach our own children the truths of the gospel.

Reformation Day – Reformation Day gives us a fun opportunity to learn about church history.  In the past we have learned how the Lord used men like Martin Luther, William Tyndale and George Whitefield for His glory.
