Biblical Counseling

There are times when you just need a helping hand. Many people do very well in some parts of their lives while they struggle in others. You may now be in a time when you need someone to come alongside and encourage you from the Bible.

People with all kinds of difficulties seek counsel and encouragement. The most common are those struggling in marriage, parenting, sexual sin, or with emotions (like depression or anger). In all cases we use the Bible, God’s Sufficient Word, to answer the problems of life.

There is Hope

We believe God has given us all we need in His inspired Word to know Him and to live in a way which is pleasing to Him and best for us.  All our difficulties may not evaporate.  However, when a person willingly submits to God’s instruction, clinging to his promises, there is hope and help.

There are answers for dealing with whatever you might be facing. In fact, many counselees experience significant progress in a few weeks.

Our counseling team offers biblical counseling to members of Grace Community Church and to some non-members, subject to evaluation and the counseling need. Counseling is based upon and informed by God’s inspired Word, the Bible.

Second Timothy 3:16, 17 tells us, “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” Second Peter 1:3 tells us, “…His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness.” We believe Scripture is sufficient to address any and all difficulties one can encounter.
